Privacy Policy

Not3d is a note-taking app for live event professionals. It is built to be private by design: we do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information, and we do not track you. The notes you create stay on your device unless you choose to send them somewhere.

Effective 3 June 2026 Last updated 3 June 2026

This policy explains how Not3d ("the app", "we", "us") handles information. Not3d is published by Sam Lisher. If you have any questions, contact us at sam@samlisher.co.uk.

Information we collect

0

None. Not3d has no user accounts and no analytics. We do not collect or receive any personal data, usage data, or device identifiers. The app's privacy manifest declares no data collection and no tracking.

Information you create, and where it goes

Everything you create in Not3d — notes, cues, timecodes, tags, drawings, and optional video snapshots — is stored locally on your device. It is sent elsewhere only when you choose to use one of the features below, and in every case it goes to a destination you control, never to us:

Camera, microphone, and local network

Not3d may ask for these permissions, all of which are optional and used only on your device:

The app's core note-taking works without granting any of these.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Not3d contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We do not use the Advertising Identifier, we do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives on your device (and, if you enabled it, in your own iCloud account), you are in control. You can delete individual notes or notebooks in the app at any time, and deleting the app removes its local data. iCloud data can be removed from your iCloud settings.

Children's privacy

Not3d is a professional productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Data stays on your device or travels over connections you initiate (local network peers, your iCloud account, or the integration endpoints you configure). Network requests to third-party services use standard encrypted HTTPS connections.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
